Nice landscape, the mountains, the lake and the castle make a nice composition. I find that tree distracting.

The reflections off of the rocks are very strong and the detail of the rocks is a little soft I would try “apply image” in PhotoShop and sharpen to better define the rock areas. Overall the photo is good the tree in foreground is unavoidable sometimes and to clone it out in this case would be a mistake because it would alter the natural beauty of the lake water.

You have found very beautiful place - the upper part of the work is perfect - but in the lower part two things doing bad job - actually the focus is on the tree in the first scene - it is very bad mistake - it should be hide more an blurred - if the water would be as a mirror the effect would be 3 times better ... anyway I suggest to crop lower part ... Nice Day !!!

Hi Eugenio, exposure and focus is spot on. Composition is fine. I like the blue sky with beatiful white cloud here. Well capture indeed. But unfortunately, the little tree a the bottom of the frame is distract the composition and you should avoid it as well. Also, the small hut pose at the right will be better (my personal taste only ^.^) Aside this, overall is a good photo and thanks for sharing.

Eugenio, definitely a good photo. Lighting, color and composition is the best here, but sharpness is not enough. Try to sharpen the image before submission is OK. 3TU for image, but I recommend again the sharpness of image.

Wonderful colors and contrast! I think this castle is the one on the road to Madonna di Campiglio, near Trento. The lake usually have amazing colors, depending on the weather. The castle is a little bit out of focus, maybe the autofocus has recognised the tree as the main subject. However very nice shot!

Hi Eugenio, good landscape photo with the catle in the middle. The colors are nice and bright. The sky has a good color with expressive clouds. The tree in the middle is in my opinion a bit disturbing. The photo gives a good image from the beauty of the nature over there.

Regards, gerard

Eugenio, looking at some of your other photos, it appears you live in the area this photo was taken. If so, you could try perhaps morning or evening to provide a little softer light on the mountains. This is a beautiful landscape and a the use of some soft light could make all the difference in this photo. As others have mentioned, the castle should receive more space (and perhaps sit on one of the third lines). It should either be the focus of attention, or out of the photo. The tree in the middle should definately be removed.

Very beautiful landscape shot, Eugenio. The composition and the nicely clouded sky are great. Maybe a polarizer would have made it even more dramatic... I agree that the tree is a bit of a problem... I'm not so crazy about cloning... But maybe you could have changed your shooting angle or standpoint? regards Marion

Hi! I think that the main problem of this photo resides in the tree in the middle of the photo. I would clone it out. There is also a small global overexposition. The mountain, lake and sky are very interesting! Jose Paulo

Very nice photo Eugenio. Love to be there right now. Photo is very sharp and love the blue sky. Others mentioned the tree, might have shot from a different angle but not to spoil a beautiful shot.

Ciao Eugenio. Toblino doesn't have more rivals, becouse it's a too much fine and pleasant place. This yours remembered me some of my photos taken there some years ago, so, I'm following you posting some amoung them here.
I didn't know - or, better, I didn't remember - this particular point of wiew which I can see in this yours, with this so important mountain behind the castle, and it's surely very striking too.
I have a lot of fine remembers of these places, and when I'm saying this kind of things I'm perfectly knowing that, usually, I don't like "mountain" landscapes. But this is surely "special".

The tree in the foreground is a bit distracting, Eugenio. And other than the rock faces being a little bright I think this is a wonderful scene you've chosen. You certainly seem to have no end to photographic opportunities where you live!

Little overexposed - and I understand those cliffs are white - but you have blown highlights.

I would also find a vantage point that didn't include a tree poking up right near the middle like that.

Pretty spot, and I do like the composition overall.

I like what you're trying to do here.. I think your lighting is good.. as the water and sky are wonderful in their colors. However I think you've almost missed the object that you're photographing. I had to look closely for the castle .. It didn't jump right out at me =( What did, is that majestic mountain that is the backdrop.. and that treetop/bush that's in the foreground. In fact, I think the focus is a bit better on that than the castle.

Maybe shift position, so that tree isn't in the way, or clone it out. Find a way to bring that castle into better focus.. or closer (which would be idea solution). As it is.. you have a beautiful picture of that mountain standing out amongst the blue.
