Beautiful scenic. Looks like you extended your Sony out to its 200mm telephoto length to get those mountains really up close. the hazy, muted look to the background really brings out the detail and color in the castle. Nice work.

Eugenio, not only ths is a beautiful place, more importantly, you did a great job with the picture. I cannot beleive the amount of detail both in the castle and the background (which creates a great contrast and perspective). The water... What can I say... WOW!

Sicuramente la tua foto più bella. Mi piace la nitidezza del castello in confronto alla sfocatura di fondo. Sarei curioso di vedere un'inquadratura meno "zoomata" per esaltare l'incombere della montagna. Complimenti!!

Nice castle on the lake. Is it for sale? No matter, I can't afford it anyway. Very sharp image you have captured here. Good composition, good lighting. The mountains in the background gives it an additional look of a very scenic setting. Great job on this one.

Beautifull landscape Eugenio. The castle is very good captured and makes a fine shot but IMHO the winner in this shot is the stunning background ogf the mountanwall!! The colors are nice and lightning is perfect.

Well done!1

This is a stunning shot you have here, Eugenio. The castle in it self is an impressive building, but the mountians behind it adds even more drama to the shot. I like that. It seems that the shot isn't quite at level if you look at the tower in the castle, but it could be that an old building hasen't straight walls, so it's hard to say. But still an impressive shot. Keep clicking ;o)
Best regards
Sass.

This is quite a nice castle. I like how alle three trees are so distinct. If I should/could change anything it would be to have the water more still.

Hi Eugenio, beautiful photo from this caste. The situation is perfect with that great grey mountain in the background. Is this a new photo or did you cropped this out from your earlier posted photo from this lake?

The sharpness on the castle is perfect and the colors are good and natural. There is really nothing to say to improve the photo. Proficiat!

Hi Eugenio, composition of that photo is well done. Exposure and focus is spot on. For my opinion, I feel that the level is a bit tilt to the left but not serious. Also, image is a little bit soft but not serious too. Try sharp more though PS. Still a good job and thanks for sharing.

A beautiful place you captured here, Eugenio. The mood of the shot in combination with fine details and an amazing color of the water create a great shot... But I agree that the horizon is a bit tilted and distracts from an otherwise great shot! regards Marion

Hi Eugenio.... u have quite a suggestive picture up there.... I specifically like the beautiful soft and fitting colors and the subject which travels you in other eras... If I can say so, it seems however that it lacks a focal pont... in other words, my eye cannot stop bouncing from tree to tree, from roof to roof, that rocky rough background and those beautiful calming waters.... excellent job! thx...

Small castle on the lake****A BIG Shot

Its a BIG shot on this site. Works as a Fairy Tale, a Dream, an Illusion. A Delight to the eyes. We wish we were there. The majestic Mountains are the backdrop of this Castlescape in a Lake. Fabulous tones are those of the mountains and the Lake matching each other as a part of the same dream. The sharp Focus provides with ample details of the Castle itself and its surroundings. Outstanding!

However i think that it isn't the best photo that you can have. I haven't ever photograph this place but i can say that is very very nice ... i will wait next spring! Ps: see my photo!

The photographer or the camera? Both no doubt. Very good Eugenio! Very good focus on the castle while having slightly unfocused mountain as a background. Using such a big aperture and different natural lighting conditions in front and back are very helpful to capture the atmosphere. Regards...

Hello Eugenio, marvelously your beautiful submission of the Castle of Toblino, the wonderful colors of the water and the mountains, lets the Castle in to a special light appear, a very well received historical building, which attracts reliably many tourists, who are colors freshly and brilliant, a photo work very much succeeded, excuses my English, best regards, Manfred

I really like the detail in this! The trees and shrubs are especially nice and sharp. I like the mountainous background being in almost a haze compared to the castle, a great contrast there! I'd guess that was from the distance from where you shot and I like it. Well done Eug.

Castle of Toblino is something of always fine to take! And in this case, another time, the result is really beautyful. Your new camera is surely learning what you want from her :-).
I only have the sensation of a little "tilt", expecially from the tower, but it could be due to the ancient building's walls. I like, too, the background and the sensation of volume of the rocks.
It's a very pleasant thing.

Excellent picture. I like the way the zoom compression makes the mountains look right on top of the castle, others will probably wish there was less zoom copression, but I find it works in these situations. I would prefer a more even composition, so I would probably have cropped the left hand side to place the castle more centered. You loose the setting a bit as it this does not seem as much like an island, but I think it would even our the shot more.

May be "small" for a castle, but it's definitely bigger than my house. Very nice light on the cliffs (and the castle) I like the water, and the overall proportions of your composition.

I might have dropped exposure just a half stop (you may be able to do this in post processing, as nothing is blown) to improve the mood a bit.

Beautiful subject matter, and excellent technical quality. This must have been a treat to see in person. The background, while majestic, takes away a little bit from the subject. Consider flattening (lowering) the mountain's contrast, or perhaps a slight Gaussian blur of the mountain. It should help the castle stand out a bit more.

I feel this is a difficult photo to gauge. Everything is perfect except the Castle. IF there was any way possible to rotate the castle so that we get a better view of it and keep everything else the way it is I would give it a 3, but photographers can not move buildings.
