Maybe the image is a little to big to give the perfect sensation that this unusual image deserved, but I like these fine and even smart silver reflections. In the present one there is a bog contrast between the bottom (dark) and the rest of the overexposed part. This is a nice idea but very difficult to achieve good results! This is however a nice try. The abstraction seems fine, but my suggestion is that it needs more contrast between the sailboat figures and their background(s) - there is so little that one misses them at first glance. They really get lost in all the sunlight reflecting off the water. I'd have a hard time guessing what it is without the description. Perhaps next time you could use a filter.
