Eugenio, some more luck and same distance, same position but
sking towards you would have been better plus may be second shot
nearer.. but i think the skier will turn and come to you, but this
time a bit lower.. Ragards. Güven.

Hi Eugenio, a very well moment capture. Exposure on those snow
foreground is right on. Just feel that the object is pose too center
and the left, right left too much space. I would like to crop out
the right or left a bit. Still a good photo though and thanks for
sharing.

You are a brave soul, Eugenio! I wouldn't take my camera out on
skis with me. Epecially the 828. But then again I won't put myself
in skis either. I think you've caught some very good action here as
this person races down the splopes. The wake of snow behind this
skier gives a good sense of speed.

Hi Eugenio, Beautifully done with the texture of the snow and
movement of the skiier all while you were on skis as well.
Congratulations for capturing this splendid shot.

Fint skiing shot. If the guy could be caught with the face
towards the camera I think a compostiont like this could imporve,
but that woudl requiere a different viewpoint of course. I always
feel a bit closed off seeing just somebodies backside. Still an all
right shot and I do not mind the central comp.

Granted there may be some equipment limitations I think zooming
into this shot would be a big improvement. Its very centered and I
dont see the wonderful textures and movement as others do. I think
the person is a little soft and not rigidly tight in the frame. its
rather ordinary having the subject right in the center. That is why
I feel zooming into the shot would be better to liven up the action
since it is so small in the frame.

it is A lot of difficulty to take a subject in dynamic
movement with a digital camera and to also use the zoom. If I
had been firm, but I was also on the skis me. :-)

When I mention the equipment it is because I have no idea
how much that particular camera is capable of getting in close
to the subjects at this distance. For all I know this was
zoomed all the way out. I am not shunning the camera in any
way but all cameras can only zoom in so far so there are some
limitations.

For me this is an superb motion picture Eugenio. The different
textures and the drawings that are being on the snow, and to that it
raises the skier when happening are wonderful. It can be felt the
effort that this man is delivering. To me it seems amazing! And the
line that forms between the snow that raises, the skier in color,
and its shade, is extraordinary.A great work! Best regards,Marta
