It is a good idear and the flowers are very good, but the overexposed water, and nothing you could do I think, a polarizer might have removed the reflection from the water (maby)You have managed a pleasing shallow dof, this is simple on a dslr, but takes more effort on a digicam, a fine image. ;o)-max-

Eugenio, stream is overexposed f/2,8 seems less, details are not clear but flowers are beautiful, great colours.. On the left moss covered stones with all tunes of green could be more focesed with more closed f. Regards. Güven.

I like this kind of composition and this kind of framing, taking some brenches against a blurred or contrasting background; and I've to say that in this case the presence of flowers adds surely a little of tenderness to the image.
Maybe I would prefer a little of more warm colours, but I'm afraid that the light wasn't you ally.
Ciao.

For me, this would be a challenging composition.
f2.8 is a wider aperture, so shallow DOF and the flowers are not parallel to the film plane.
Due to so many details in the frame, it is hard to see what is exactly on focus and the overall image is over sharpened.
The stream is overexposed, a circular polarizer would have helped to reduce reflections.

hello Eugenio, spring is great for photographers.. nice subject. i'd prefer this shot with a thinner dof. so the sharpness on the main subject would be better. overall good photo. Regards <|MehmeT|>

Eugenio, this one is not the best from you. The shot is reluctant an interesting point. Very busy photo and the composition is not interesting here. Based on this title, you can take one flower is OK with the stream.

I think this image would requeire more beautiful light too work. The bright background water also fails to contribute in a good way to the compostion.

A nice idea! I would prefer it if the water was not as blown out. THe depth of field seems just right to me.
