hi eugenio. The crop is excessive but your work is excellent. I prize the photo for the sharpness, for the colours and for exposure. I would propose this picture to some site of mountaineering or precisely to a site about the Dolomites

You have captured a very nice panorama, Eugenio. A scene like this cannot be truly appreciated without a panorama. The only small item I could find is an apparent vertical seam in the sky at the right third of the photo. I think you could probably eliminate this with a little time in PS. Having done some panoramas myself, I find such problems with the sky can be difficult, but not impossible to correct. I am wondering if you used the photomerge feature of PS CS3? I find that to be quite effective as a stitching program. Nicely done. Regards, Steve.

Many thanks Steve see you again. I have not used photomerge, I will owe' to learn to use it. I have used PixMaker, but seen the uncertainties I will have to abandon it. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hi Eugenio, you must have a huge monitor - rarely do I need to use the horizontal scroll bar to view a picture... Having said that, this subject is perfect for a panorama shot with lots of different looking peaks and other detail. You have captured it very well. My nitpick would be the blown-out clouds to the right. Thanks for sharing, Peter. BTW: Example of using three exposures and (modest) HDR to avoid highlights: http://www.photosig.com/go/photos/view?id=2045519

You are right Peter. This photo has been realized for a poster by to stamp with a plotter. For a monitor it is too much great. Thanks for the criticism.
